Biography

Carmel Riley, Principal at Carmel Riley Consulting Social Enterprise has delivered professional services to the Gippsland Community for over 15 years.  Carmel’s experience spans across private sector, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations across health, community services, education, technology and sustainability service industries. Carmel is passionate about small medium enterprise and supporting founders to realise their strengths and overcome barriers to achieving their definition of success.

Carmel resides in Warragul with her husband John and three primary school aged children. Carmel is newly graduated from an Executive Masters of Business Administration, with professional growth focused upon contemporary global business environments of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.

Carmel holds an additional tertiary background in speech pathology and family sensitive practice, bringing unique lenses and facilitation techniques to the table. She operates under the pillars of respect, accountability, integrity and customer service, considering these values to be core enablers to successful work practices. With a commitment to inclusiveness, abundance and possibility, Carmel will walk alongside an organisation, providing safe space to acknowledge the past, explore the present and define the future.
