Project Description

Victorian Aboriginal Community Initiatives Fund

The Victorian Government, through Family Safety Victoria, is providing $1.1 million for the Aboriginal Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) in 2019-20, to implement community-led projects that educate, prevent, reduce and respond to family violence in Aboriginal communities across Victoria.
Gippsland Aboriginal Advocacy Support Services is looking to partner and collaborate with mainstream to value add and complement any existing community projects or family violence initiatives that are happening in Gippsland. The partner organization would need to auspice the funds and an official MOU would need to developed. See the attachments for further information and take note of the timelines for the closing dates. They are rather tight.
