Welcome to Startup Gippsland!

Startup Gippsland is a project by the Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Latrobe City and Wellington Shire councils, with the aim of igniting the startup ecosystem across these 4 local government areas.

For many people, the word ‘startup’ conjures up images of businesses founded in the garages of Silicon Valley. And while that’s true, the definition of startup is broader.

Startup Gippsland is here to support anyone in the Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Latrobe or Wellington areas who has a business or business idea that they want to scale to reach national and global audiences.

Startup Gippsland includes meet-ups, one-off workshops, a showcase of local startups, and a 12-week program of masterclasses that build upon each other for a selected group of people.

Applications are now open for Startup Gippsland’s 12-week program and we’re looking for people with a can-do attitude who want to take their business or idea to the next level.

There will be an information session held in each of the participating council areas. If you can’t make it to this session, you can join one of the other sessions instead, or book in a time through our website to speak to a Startup Gippsland team member directly.
