Over 50 Local Traders from Raymond Street Precinct in Sale have joined together with 18 local schools.

Each school is going to produce 3 pieces of artwork done by local school children depicting why they “love where they live”.

These pieces of artwork are going to be framed and displayed initially in the shop windows along and around Raymond Street.

People are invited to vote for their favourite pieces of art – voting slips will be available in the shops displaying the artwork.

Votes will be tallied at the end of November and prizes awarded for 1st (value $600), 2nd (value $300) and 3rd places (value $200).

The prizes have been donated by the participating traders along and around Raymond Street, Sale.

The pieces of artwork will then be displayed at the Port of Sale from the beginning of December to the end of February next year, displaying to our visitors why our children think this area is a wonderful place.
