Are you the operator of a food business? Or do you work in a food business and are looking to increase your skills?

Baw Baw Shire Council is offering Food Safety Training in Yarragon, Drouin and Warragul this March, custom designed for our local food business owners and staff to increase their knowledge of food safety and enhance the way we serve our customers.

This session will be held in Warragul on Wednesday March 18 from 1pm to 5pm.

Learn about the Food Safety Standards and recent changes to legislation that may affect your business, get the tools to provide your staff with best practice food safety training, support customers with food allergies and intolerances, prevent food poisoning and overall improve the level of food safety across the industry.

At the end of the training session:

• Managers, Supervisors and business owners will be able to lead by example and put into practice what has been learnt;
• Participants will be able to understand the basic requirements of the Food Act 1984 and food safety standards;
• Participants will be able to do their job better, know they are doing things the right way;
• Greater job satisfaction and ;
• Managers will be able to set up your own high food safety standards in your food business.
