Julie started her catering business in August 2018, with a gluten-free menu. She loves cooking and sharing food with others.
I was very lucky to be brought up in the country. We ate what was in season and preserved the excess.
SBA’s Kitchen started off as a blog where owner Julie Malyon shared stories and recipes. She strongly believes that food not only nourishes the body, it also nourishes the soul, especially when shared with others.
Demand for her home cooked food has grown, but rather than get bigger, Julie chooses quality over quantity, so for now, she continues to supply The Pickle Pot and The Dock Espresso Bar along with a limited number of private clients, as well as creating gourmet cakes and food for special events and business meetings.
