We produce quality milk in a farming system that is committed to improving biodiversity, landscape function, soil health, and the comfort and happiness of the cows.

We are learning how to sequester carbon into our soils to increase their productive capacity in a changing climate, to improve the quality of the food we produce from this land, and in-turn contribute to improved human health. This carbon sequestration contributes to drawing the carbon out of the atmosphere.

A significant area of the farm has been set aside to plant native trees, shrubs, and grasses to provide habitat and promote species diversity. These areas also provide a filter and nutrient sink so water leaving our farm is clean and fresh, and protects the local river system and contributed to the health of the Gippsland Lakes. The growth of trees is further contributing to drawing carbon from the atmosphere.
