Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers opened in regional Victoria over 30 years ago and soon established a thriving business based on personalised service and word of mouth. Then, as now, our company’s guiding principle can be summed up in four words: We work for you.

We combine our policy of always putting the client first with a deep understanding of the science of insurance. This allows us to broker better policy conditions for our clients. Because each client has different needs, we rarely offer insurance “off-the shelf”. Our approach has always been to tailor insurance to our clients’ real needs and in their best interests.

Our technical expertise also means we are willing to tackle the more hard to-place insurance risks that others can’t or won’t. We also use our deep understanding of insurance to design policies that include benefits previously unavailable. The policy we designed for the fire protection industry is one such example.

Unlike other brokerages of our size, we have a fully functioning claims department. This means we negotiate with the insurer on our clients’ behalf to ensure the best claim outcomes for our clients’ business. As we grow and expand into new markets, including other countries, our approach to our business will not change. We are and will remain providers of specialised, personalised, individualised insurance that best suits our clients’ varied needs.
