Harnessing the power of video to promote your business
Have you ever watched a video online to learn more about a product or service? That’s what your customers are doing every day to learn more about products and services as they shop around online.
As the use of mobile devices has climbed, so too has the importance of videos to promote businesses and to help customers find them. Videos can explain what you do and how you do it, and introduce you and your products and services to the public. These are videos with lasting value, positioning your business as a trusted industry and a reliable local enterprise.
Right now, grants of up to $5000 are available to small and medium-sized local businesses to pay for professional services such as marketing and website development. The funding is available through the Latrobe Valley Business and Industry Capability Fund and is for those which have been operating for up to three years and are registered with Gippsland Business Connect.
If you think it’s time to invest in video to promote your business, get in touch with me, Mark Giddens, at Gippsland 360. I’ve worked for more than 25 years as a cinematographer and editor and Gippsland360 is one of the few companies in Gippsland to hold a commercial drone licence and ReOC to legally operate drones. I can work with you to showcase your business using the power of video.
To learn more about the Business and Industry Capability Fund, visit the Latrobe Valley Authority website. Applications close at 5pm on Friday 16 April or when available money is fully allocated.
