How to gain access to Major Work Opportunities across Gippsland
Projects totalling several billion dollars are underway or coming to all areas of Gippsland.
The focus of the Victorian State Government via the Latrobe Valley Authority and the GROW Gippsland Program is to support local suppliers across the Region to ensure that they know how to better access and take advantage of these opportunities.
GROW (Growing Regional Opportunities for Work) Gippsland is a collaborative approach to local economic development and jobs growth in the region. This can be achieved through local and social procurement and inclusive employment opportunities and knowing how to access new work opportunities. Networking and collaborative opportunities are also available through this process.
GROW Gippsland’s Local Procurement Advisers – Peter Mogridge and Robert Issell are undertaking a series of workshops for local suppliers in the 6 Local Government Areas of East Gippsland, Wellington, Latrobe City, Baw Baw, South Gippsland and Bass Coast with the support of ICN Gateway and Vendor Panel representatives.
These workshops are predominantly aimed at assisting Suppliers in the Construction & Civil Industry however any supplier of goods and services across Gippsland will benefit from attending these workshops.
Advice and support on how to connect with this pipeline of major projects currently underway or coming over the next couple of years will be invaluable in positioning your business to take maximum advantage of the opportunities.
These projects include Building and Construction Projects, Civil Construction Projects, Road & Rail Infrastructure Upgrades and Renewable Energy Projects such as Solar & Wind Farms.
