Additional support for local businesses

Launched in September last year, the Business Support Service is helping local businesses grow their capability – with dedicated support staff known as Concierges based at Wellington Shire Council, Baw Baw Shire Council, Latrobe City Council, and Latrobe Valley Authority.

As part of the Service, local businesses in the early stages of development may now be eligible for funding by working closely with their local Concierge to help take their business to the next level.

The Latrobe Valley Business and Industry Capability Fund provides grants for skills and capability building (including training, professional services), infrastructure, equipment and collaborative business activities.
